Crawl Space Solutions
In our area, there are many homes that were built with crawl spaces instead of basements. For a long time, they were built with open vents to the outside where were intended to help air flow into the space and keep it dry. Unfortunately, this is rarely what happens. Having open vents allows water to enter the space when it rains or snows and the vents prevent proper evaporation which causes the humidity levels to stay high which will eventually harbor the growth of mildew.
